Updating the time of an incident via App

Sometimes you won’t be able to create an incident at the time of the call (this is especially true if you do not have a full time Dispatch) and will need to update it. You can do this on your cases in the app.

Steps:

  1. Go to the list of your cases
  2. Swipe to the left to reveal the Info button
  3. Click Info
  4. Change the date and time of creation
  5. Go back to the list of cases

Troubleshooting:

If you are a Patroller (you don’t have access to reports and the dispatch screen on app.medic52.com and you can only see your own cases then you can only do this when the case is open. If the case is closed you will get an error saying ‘You do not have permission to edit this case’.
